Community Partnerships

Seeds has partnered with the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy to provide sexual health services to adolescents in the Midlands.  This initiative includes a number of services, including sex education courses using on evidence-based curriculum, healthy relationships workshops, and guidance on where you can find teen-friendly reproductive health services.  It’s our intention to arm teens with the information needed to make safe decisions as it relates to their sexual health.

The Women's Rights & Empowerment Network Photovoice Project is an advocacy tool that blends photography and critical thinking to analyze community problems through the eyes and perspective of community members. Residents who experience problems and opportunities became “issue education experts,” informing facilitators of their first-hand accounts through the use of photography and critical dialogue. In this project, we join WREN to use photovoice as a space for women and girls to speak on the challenges and opportunities faced within the Midlands region of South Carolina.

Seeds partners with Know Money, Inc. to provide financial literacy programming to our youth and their families.

Seeds partners with St. Lawrence Place to provide life skills and sexual health programming to their teens and adolescent mothers, as needed.
